the room was spacious (a definite plus). it was also quiet despite the proximity to the motorway. the access from the service area was ideal.
I found the double bed was not comfortable. the single bed was also quite hard. i disliked having to pay for parking. I knew nothing about it until i arrived.

I received a warm welcome and the staff were helpful. My ground floor room was spotlessly clean. I also got excellent local information leading to a fantastic evening at a local carvery. The charging point for my car right outside was a HUGE help.
I noticed the location is part of the services off the M5 motorway. It made walking anywhere impossible. I had to leave the hotel via the M5. This doubled the length of most journeys.
